4/11/2024 0 Comments Valorant callout maps![]() ![]() ![]() In this case I think due to how pro level has already adopted CT and T (the CSGO players playing with non-CS players seem to have all agreed on this) it seems here to stay, as it trickles down due to strams etc. My main point is it's harder to relearn something that's already a habit than to learn something new. If the callout shifts to D and T I can use that, but so far I have not needed to. I understand a callout as D spawn or T spawn the same as CT and T, I just don't use them myself as my habit is CT and T in the thick of a fire fight, etc. saying 'finally' implies they had heard it many times before. ![]() You also literally mention someone finally admit they don't know what CT and T is.my point was they should have said something the second it was called and they didn't know.or the very least the end of that round. You mentioned a heated round in the comment above mine.maybe you did not mean heated as in arguing.? idk I interpreted your comment as someone getting heated about not knowing the call based on your context and that could have been wrong. ".finally the other day one of them admitted, after a heater round, that they have no clue what the hell we're trying to say when we say CT." Your comments make.no sense to me.did you not write the above? I made a calm statement that I felt that calls should adapt to Valorant, not the other way around, and then a prediction that they would in time. I'm not passionately arguing for people to change what they call things. It may take longer for higher ranks and competitive play to change, or they may never change due to the fact that people at that rank either already have CSGO experience or else spent enough time grinding away at Valorant to hear CT/T often. I'm very certain that in time, maybe a year or maybe two, you're going to see much fewer players in Unrated and low ranks referring to it as CT/T. That doesn't mean calls shouldn't be made that are clear and easy for the majority of the playerbase to understand. If not its the persons job not understanding to say so. I'm not sure what this is in response to. If there is a call going on and no one speaks up people assume they know what you mean. The point of a callout is to quickly relay info I'm not sure where anyone talked about getting heated. If someone doesn't know a callout they need to just say so and not get heated about it. My friends and I primarily refer to them as CT/T just because of those of us with CSGO experience, but I hear a variety of callouts from random players and friends who don't play CSGO. I mean.I've only heard anyone I play with (friends and randos) refer to them as CT and T.so It's already part of the call culture of Val. As the game gets older, and the ratio of CS players to non-CS players shifts, the commonly-understood callouts are likely to change. Not everyone understand the callout (meaning not everyone agrees), and.Maybe you misunderstood what my point was. So as long as everyone agrees on a callout, its the correct callout There is a natural logic behind callouts because the point is for them to be quickly understood by everyone. This section of your run-on sentence just contradicted itself, so that's about all that needs to be said there. There doesnt need to be logic behind, the only purpose of them is to give info Clearly they're relevant, and claiming they're irrelevant is actually kind of bewildering in this context. If that was the case then this post wouldn't exist. Oh, that's right, commenting on reddit doesn't mean it's "important to you." Obviously Defender and Attacker can be replaced with Counter Terrorist and Terrorist respectively, but as it is labelled as such in game, I have used the Attacker/Defender notation, although I am considering changing it. If you guys like this post, I am open to making similar callout maps for Bind, Split and Haven. I hope this callout map helps in standardizing the callouts in Valorant. Mid Connector instead of Defender Connector. Some alternate callouts that are also very popular include: These are the most common callouts that I've heard being used (moreso in the higher ranks) After hearing a lot of people who don't know the callouts, I sought to standardize them, so here's a callout map for Ascent. ![]()
